Kimberly Bunch-Crump, PhD, BCBA-D, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Special Education and Child Development at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Dr. Bunch-Crump has over ten years of experience teaching in K–12 high-incidence special education classrooms in Title I schools. She has served at the district level to address disparities in student outcomes, directed a community-based mental health agency, and worked at several universities preparing pre-service and in-service teachers and behavioral health professionals in evidence-based practices that support individuals with disabilities and their families. Dr. Bunch-Crump currently teaches preservice and graduate-level courses in the Special Education Program. She is actively involved in state and national professional organizations dedicated to advancing teacher preparation and improving educational and behavioral services for underserved student populations.
